Coconut chutney is mainly used in south india. Its mainly served with fried items and like dosa and idli. Its used at the time of dinner snd lunch too.

Green Coconut Chutney Recipe - How To Make Coconut Chutney

Ingredients for Coconut Chutney:
Fresh coconut - half,
Coriander leaf - 1/2 cup,
Green chilli - 02 pcs,
Lemon (medium size) - 01 pc,
Oil - 01 tbsp.,
Mustard seed - 01 tsp.,
Curry leaf - 08 pcs,
Cilli powder - 01 pinch,
Salt - according to taste.

How to Make Coconut Chutney: 
First of all peel of the coconut and cut into a small pieces.

Now add coconut, green chilly, coriander leaf, lemon juice and salt in a mixer jar with 1/2 glass of water.

Make a smooth paste, and pour into a bowel. Add some water if required.

Now into a pan hot a tbsp of oil, add mustard seed, when popping started of seeds add curry leaf and red chilly powder.

Now add the finely prepared coconut paste. Mixed the mixture properly.

So, your yummy coconut chutney is ready now.

Serve it with dosa, idly, sambar, vada etc.
